The Funk Messengers

Get ready for a night of deep grooves, infectious rhythms and high-energy jazz-funk as The Funk Messengers hit St Ives Jazz Club. Featuring Pete Truin (saxophone), Tom Quirke (keys), James Macphail (bass) and Wesley Gibbons (drums), the band brings together four superb musicians for an evening celebrating the funkier side of jazz. Expect hard-hitting classics including Cantaloupe Island, Red Baron and Cold Duck Time, alongside music inspired by the fiery funk and fusion sounds of artists such as Kenny Garrett. With tight grooves, powerful solos and plenty of energy, this promises to be a great night for lovers of jazz, funk and everything in between. Join us at St Ives Jazz Club for another fantastic night of live music in the heart of St Ives.
